Obituary

Okey H. Ford 102 of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Steubenville passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 in The Arbors at Stow.

He was born May 23, 1917 in Doddridge Co., WV, a son of the late Jesse and Eska (Hutson) Ford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Terry) Ford in 2011; three brothers, Forrest, Homer, and Jesse Ford; two sisters, Pauline Ash and Maxine Ford.

Okey was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII. He was retired from National Steel and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year Club. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Steubenville where he was active and served as a deacon and central board.

Okey is survived by a son, Brad (Betsy) Ford of Media, PA; daughter, Pamela (Dennis) O'Donnell of St. Clairsville; seven grandchildren, Adam (Rija) Ford, Daniel (Adrienne) Ford, Molly Ford, Patrick (Erin) Ford, Colleen (Ben) Van Lear, Sean (Allison) O'Donnell, Ryan (Laura) O'Donnell; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Burnetta Hoskinson, Marjorie Overstreet, Velora Howerton, Udora Keys.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 1 PM until time of funeral services at 3 PM. Private entombment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Steubenville.
