Patricia "Pat" Simpson

Patricia J. Simpson, 83, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Richmond, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026. She was born on May 22, 1943, in Niagara Falls, New York, to the late Charles and Jean (Kurtz) McGill. In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by her sister, Jancie Reynolds.

Patricia was a faithful member of the St. John Fisher Catholic Church for many years, where she was involved in the Catholic Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Richmond Volunteer Fire & Rescue.

She is survived by her loving husband, Melvyn Simpson; her son, Shawn (Sclena) Simpson of Bloomingdale, Ohio; her daughter, Dawn Hendershot of Dublin, Ohio; her brother, Timothy (Barb) Simpson of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren, Devon (Zach) Hendershot, Ethan (Molly) Hendershot, Miranda Hendershot, Ike Hendershot, Toby (Lauren) Simpson, Jacob Simpson, Noah (Erin) Simpson and Zach(Jade) Powell and Brittany Powell; and her 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, arrangements are entrusted to Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes.
