Patrick E. Alkire Sr., 88 of Mingo Jct, OH passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 .

He was born March 17, 1923 in Romney , WV a son of the late Peter Raymond and Sarah Fishel Alkire. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers, one sister, his son, Willy and grandson, Cody.

Patrick was a Veteran of the US Army in WWII and a welder by trade.

He is survived by his sons, Patrick Jr., Frank, Edward, and Steven, daughters, Vicki and Sarah; one brother, one sister and numerous grandchildren.

Arrangements are in the care of the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, Bergholz.
