Patricia "Patti" L. Rothacker, 72, of Richmond, OH, passed away July 5, 2017 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, OH.

She was born July 28, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Chase M. and Mary H. (Zimmerman) Byers.

Patti would light up a room with her smile. She has an infectious sense of humor, fun to be around, and a great listener. Patti loved her family and puppies. She worked for Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes. Patti will be missed by all.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church Amsterdam, OH and the Richmond Lions Club.

Patti is survived by her loving husband, Bill Rothacker; sons, Rob (Renae) Carnahan and Jim Carnahan; sisters, Judy (Barry) McCart and Charlene (Gary) Hawkins; sister-in-law, Patty (Bill) Miller; grandchildren, Taylor (Paul) Corsaro and Chase Carnahan; many nieces and nephews; and her puppies.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond.

Additional visitation will be held Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Richmond, OH.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Sunday at 1:30 PM at St. John Fisher Catholic Church Richmond with Father John McCoy celebrant.

Burial will follow at Toronto Union Cemetery.

Vigil service 7:45 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
