Obituary
Paul Laney, 96, of Mechanicstown , OH , passed away on May 7, 2014 at his home.
He was born May 26, 1917 in Hoytville , OH , a son of the late Thomas and Laura (Speaker) Laney.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Francis Laney; brothers, Marvin and Earl Laney; and sisters, Floris Griffith, Lucy Laney, and Catherine Wade.
He was a member of Riley Church.
Paul is survived by his wife who he married on December 16, 1944, Belva (Huston) Laney of Mechanicstown, OH; sons, Paul R. Laney of Salineville, OH, David (Sheila) Laney of Mechanicstown, OH, and Clifford Laney of Mechanicstown; daughters, Shirley (Earl) Miller of Bolivar, OH, Delora "Boots" Auman of Mechanicstown, OH, and Anna A. Laney of Bentley, WV; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, Bergholz.
