Paul Lester Thompson 63, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 after a five year battle with cancer. He was truck driver employed by Sunesis Trucking. Paul was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Wintersville American Legion Post #557 and Steubenville VFW Post #80. He also volunteered at many children's Christmas parties as Santa or Santa's helper.

Paul was born October 30, 1951 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Robert and Jeannie Keeling Thompson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his twin sons, John Paul and Russell Paul; two brothers, William Snider and Robert Thompson, Jr.; a sister, April Corham.

He is survived by his daughter, Shasta (Mike) Cunningham of Mingo; companion, Bonnie Ballard of Wintersville; grandchildren, Dylan and Miranda Cunningham.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Sunday October 18, 2015 from 5 PM until time of services at 7 PM with Pastor Herb Alexandra officiating.
