Ralph David Sweat, 69 of East Springfield, OH passed away Sunday September 30, 2007 at his home. He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Cyprus Mineral where he worked as a maintenance supervisor in Silver Peak, NV. Ralph was born August 2, 1938 in New Cumberland, WV a son of Sarah Miller Sweat of Wintersville, OH and the late Malcolm Sweat. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step- father Ellis Miller, two brothers Jack and Lee Sweat, one sister Wanda Moran. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Margie Sweat. Six children, David Sweat of Fresno, OH; Danny Sweat of Duncansville, PA; Cindy (Pat) Lynch of Canal Winchester, OH; Leota Holloway of Cadiz, KY; Kim Wilson and Dennis Sheets both of Bowling Green, KY. Two brothers, Mike (Tina) Sweat of Bloomingdale, OH and Ron (Darlene) Sweat of Amsterdam, OH. One sister Judy (Donald) Griffith of Amsterdam. Two step brothers Ellis ( Pat) Miller of Dayton, OH and Dave ( Alice) Miller of Columbus, OH. One Step-sister Linda ( Ned) Moran of East Springfield, OH. 15 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart- Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Wednesday from 2-6 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 6 PM.
