The Reverend THOMAS L. FORNASH, 70, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2009 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH. He was born December 11, 1938 in Sutton, WV, a son of the late Lawrence and Tanna Bell (Conrad) Fornash. He is also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Fornash, Jr, an infant daughter, Jacklyn, a brother, Richard and a stepson, Connie Aldridge. He was retired from Buckeye Industrial Mining as a heavy equipment operator. He had worked as a self-employed contractor and for the last 2 years was the camp grounds manager of Goods Woods near Carrollton. He was an ordained minister who had his own church for several years and last preached at Simmons Ridge Church near Amsterdam. He is survived by his wife, Mary R. (Reavis) Fornash, by 3 sons, Terry Neal Fornash of Zanesville, Billy (Tammy) Fornash of Mt. Airy, NC and Caleb (Tina) Fornash of Waynesburg, OH; by 2 daughters, Penny Jo (Larry) Evans of Akron, OH and Tanna Lynn Hamler of Lima, OH, a sister, Eula Jean (Jeff) Lambert of East Canton, OH and stepsons, James, Tim and Randy Aldridge, all of North Carolina. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with funeral services at the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM.
