RHONDA DIANA McAFEE, 48, of Toronto, OH, wife of Bob McAfee, died suddenly of an apparent heart attack early Monday morning, September 4, 2006. She was a custodian at Edison High School and president of the employees union, OAPSE. She was a 1976 graduate of Weir High and was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, Richmond. Diane was born March 18, 1958 in Weirton, WV. She is preceded in death by both her father, William Ellenberger and stepfather, Donald Skinner. In addition to her husband, Robert C. McAfee, she is survived by her mother, June (Tate) Skinner of New Cumberland, WV; by 3 daughters: Stephanie Porter and husband Kenneth, Richmond, Samanda Pepperling and husband, Gary, Columbus, and Heather Grimes and husband Ronny, Amsterdam; 5 grandchildren Angus, Ian and Ella Porter and Allison and Luke Grimes; by 2 brothers, William Ellenberger and wife Audrey, Weirton, WV and Harry Ellenberger, New Cumberland, WV and a sister, Kathryn Licata and husband Sam, also of New Cumberland, 5 nephews and 5 great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where services will be held at 11 AM Thursday with the Rev. Fr. John McCoy. Burial will follow in the Richmond Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributons may be made to the Diana McAfee Fund and left with the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home.
