Richard Scott Goodwin, 53, of Richmond, OH passed away November 9, 2014 at his home.

He was born July 27, 1961 in Weirton, WV, a son of Harry R. and Connie A. (Miller) Goodwin of Bloomingdale, OH.

Richard loved animals and spending time gardening. He worked as a pipefitter for Local 495.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers, David (Linda) Goodwin of Richmond, OH and Kenneth Goodwin of Bloomfield, PA; sister, Brenda Goodwin of Westerville, OH; aunts, uncles, nephews, and niece; and his two dogs, Peanut and Reba.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
