ROBERT L. (Sarge) FELLOWS, 64, of Bloomingdale, OH passed away peacefully under a shade tree while resting from his yard work. Sarge had been recovering from a stroke suffered June 3rd. He had over 30 years in as a pipe-fitter at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel prior to his 2003 retirement. He had been a supervisor for the Community Action Council Flood Relief crew for 2 years. He had served in Vietnam in the US Army and was a Methodist by faith. He was a longtime member of the Steubenville Saddle Club and had been a member of the Beagle Club. He had a lifelong passion for horseback riding. Sarge was born June 26, 1942 in Steubenville, a son of the late William L. and Isabelle (Shaw) Fellows. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia A. Fellows. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Patricia A. (Colgrove) Fellows; by a son, Scott and wife, Amanda of Hesperia, California, by 3 daughters, Pamela Hull and husband Shawn, Cary, North Carolina, Chris Lash and husband Mike, Richmond and Lisa Gardner and husband James, Steubenville and by 8 grandchildren, Jessi, Ian, Alexandra, Katlyn, Cassidy, Justin, Nichole and Ryan and 1 great grandson, London. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Sunday from 4-6 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held Monday at 11 AM with Sarge's brother-in-law, the Reverend Jack Colgrove, officiating.
