Robert Leake, 71, of Bergholz , Ohio passed away June 20, 2011 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville .

He was born July 14, 1939 in Bergholz, son of the late Lawrence and Nellie Marie (Marcino) Leake. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by two children, Robert Keith Leake and Nellie Marie Leake; and sister, Patricia Spaar.

Robert served his country as part of the United States Army. He was a life long member of Amsterdam VFW 232.

Robert is survived by his children, Darla (Robert) Liston of Fredericksburg, VA, Harold (Veronica) Leake of Steubenville, OH, Michael Leake of Mingo Junction , OH , Kevin Crosby of Parkersburg WV, Robert Leake of Steubenville, OH; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Lawrence (Liz) Leake of Port Jervis, NY and William Leake of Carrollton.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St. , Bergholz on Thursday from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Reverend Dave Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bergholz Cemetery with full military honors.
