Robert D. MAPLE, SR, 79, of Carrollton, formerly of Bergholz, died in Carrollton, OH Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Golden Age Retreat. He was a self-employed salesman and WWII Army veteran. He was born in Bergholz, OH, December 16, 1927, a son of the late James and Mary Sevenski Maple. He is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Alvie and James Maple and a sister, Jean SanFlipio. He is survived by 5 sons, Robert (Donna) Maple, Jr. of Carrollton, Val Maple of Wellsville, James (Clare) Maple of East Springfield, Rich (Sharon) Maple of Bysville and Ben Maple of Bergholz; by 3 daughters, Sue (Danny) Katerba, Barb (Tim) Freeman and Ennie Workman, all of Bergholz; by a brother, Tim Maple of Marietta, 2 sisters, Arnetta Beckley of Carrollton and Martha Zak of Canton; by 26 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
