Robert A. Moffatt, Sr., 71, of Wintersville, OH, passed away February 18, 2015 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.
He was born July 4, 1943 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Hugh and Agnes (Bickerstaff) Moffatt.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Mary McNeil Cowher.
Robert served his country in the United States Army.
He was a member of the Wintersville Baptist Temple. Robert was a member of Unionport Order of Eastern Star Chapter 360, Steubenville F & AM 45, and past Master of Unionport F & AM 333. He was past President of Steubenville Shrine Club.
Robert is survived by his wife, Bonna Kay (Pearce) Moffatt who he married October 17, 1964, they recently celebrated spending 50 years together ; sons, Robert (Amy) Moffatt, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN, Charles (Karen) Moffatt of Fairmont, WV, Daniel (Natalie) Moffatt of Bergholz, OH, and Donald (Michelle) Moffatt of Grove City, OH; brother, Hugh (Ruth Ann) Moffatt of Simsbury, Connecticut; grandchildren, Ashley, Allyson, Zachery, Brittni, Danielle, Destiny, Patrick, Jonathon, Tyler, and Ashley Skye Moffatt; great grandchild, Taylor Lemley; and nephews, Tom McNeil of Wintersville and James McNeil of Florida.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM.
Masonic Services will be held Friday at 7:00 PM.
