Robert Louis Vandeborne, 69, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away October 4, 2023 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born February 10, 1954 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Fred and Thelma (Frey) Vandeborne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Dick Vandeborne; sister, Janet Grimes. Robert was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh steel and was a member of Mingo Sportsman Club. Robert was a longtime supporter of Wintersville and Indian Creek Athletics. He always enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by two sons, Robert (Regina) Vandeborne and Chad (Tiffany) Vandeborne; brothers, Donnie (Diane) Vandeborne and Gary (Phyllis) Vandeborne; grandchildren, Robert, Alexandra, Jayden, Cara, Cameron, Regan, and Carson.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon with Pastor Bill Westling officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
