Ronald W. Crossley, 81, of Steubenville, OH, passed away April 12, 2015 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh after a brief illness.

He was born September 1, 1933 in Mingo Jct., OH, a son of the late Lawrence and Jean (Anderson) Crossley.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his stillborn son; brothers, Robert, Richard, and Larry Crossley; and sister, Joyce Shay.

Ronald served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Finley United Methodist Church, Steubenville. He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel as an engineer on the railroad.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Genevie (Forsythe) Crossley; brothers, James (Julie) Crossley and Bill (Tina) Crossley; sisters, Janice (Louie) Janos and Linda (Mike) Savastone; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville with full Military Honors.
