Ronald E. Lucas, Sr., 69, of Steubenville, OH, passed away December 8, 2016 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born August 5, 1947 in Steubenville, OH, a son of Lois (Ferguson) Lucas of Steubenville and the late James Lucas, Sr.

Ronald served his country in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Marsha (Morgan) Lucas of Steubenville, OH; daughter, Deana Young of Dayton, OH; son, Ronald Lucas, Jr. of Athens, OH; brother, James Lucas of CA; sisters, Candie Lucas of Steubenville, OH and Diane Waugh of Steubenville, OH; grandchildren, Dannah (Matt) Weinzetl of TX, Janey, Audrey, and Kayla Lucas.

Per Ron's request there will be no visitation and a private graveside service will be held at Bergholz Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
