Ronald Ray Rhodes Sr., 82, of Bergholz, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Gables Care Center. He was born April 2, 1942 in Ross Twp., Ohio a son of the late Howard and Estella (Landis) Rhodes. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Peoples) Rhodes; two, daughters, Louis Ann Rhodes and Deborah Brown; three brothers, Everett, Paul, and Edgar Rhodes. Ron was a member of New Rumley Methodist Church.

Ron is survived by a son, Ronald "Rudy" Rhodes Jr.; two daughters, Pat Simpson and Missy  Rhodes; brother, Raymond Rhodes; sister, Gerladine Orwick; grandchildren, Shawna (Marc) Minella, Tonya (Matt) Salvini, Roger Lee (Lindsay) Hale, Beth (Bryan) Hastings, David Hale, Ronald (Leeanna) Rhodes, Becky (Jordan) White, Dylan Rhodes; 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Additional visitation on Thursday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 11 AM.
