RONALD E. ROGERS, 69, of Richmond, OH, died Monday, September 18, 2006 in UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA. He was a bricklayer with Local #10, Steubenville and owner/operator of R&S Masonry of Richmond. He was an avid supporter of his grandchildren's athletic teams. He was born in Richmond August 21, 1937, a son of the late Charles and Ruth (Barrett) Rogers. He is also preceded in death by four brothers, Jack, Dick, Pete and Russell Rogers and a sister, Betty Rose. He is survived by his wife, Claudia (Pool) Rogers, two sons, Edward C. Rogers and Mark B. (Neysa) Rogers, and two daughters, Tina Rogers and Valerie (Paul) Dougherty, all of Richmond; 5 grandchildren: Edward Crawford, Travis Higgs, Desiree Dougherty, Mark and Dominic Rogers and a sister, Dorothy (Howard) Thomas, Bloomingdale. Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Thursday from 1-3 and 4-6 PM where funeral services will be held at 6 PM Thursday with the Reverend Jason Elliott officiating.
