RONALD B. SHEETS, 68, of Toronto, OH, suddenly passed away in his home of natural causes February 21, 2007. He retired in 2000 as a machinist from AEP Cardinal Plant and served in the 82nd Airborne Paratroopers of the US Army. He was a member of the AEP 1st Wednesday retirement breakfast club at Lancelot's and was a Methodist by faith. He was born November 5, 1938 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late John W. and Lillian C. (Carmichael) Sheets. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Sheets. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Jean (Hoobler) whom he married February 11, 1961. He is also survived by a son, Ronald B. Sheets, Jr. and wife Kasey of Franklin, OH and a daughter, Carla Jo Westlake and husband Paul of Dover; and by 5 grandchildren, Billy, Zachary, Nathan, Bryan and Brianna. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 1 PM Saturday with the Reverend Craig Hoobler. Military honors will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad and the Army National Guard. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery, Toronto.
