Ronald Keith Westfall, 72, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away September 23, 2016 with his family by his side.
He was born June 11, 1944 in Steubenville, OH, a son of late Cloyd and Gertrude (Johnson) Westfall.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his infant brother, Steven Westfall and sister, Shirley Westfall.
Ronald served his country in the United States Army. He was a highly decorated Vietnam Veteran with two distinguished service crosses. He was a lifetime member of the Vietnam Veterans Support Group Chapter 1, Steubenville, VFW Post 80 Steubenville, and 25th Infantry Association. In 2014 he was Jefferson County Veteran of the Year.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Rona (Anderson) Westfall; daughters, Shellie (John) Westfall, Sherrie Westfall, and Nicole Beattie; brother, Poncho (Patty) Westfall; sister, Connie (Rick) Winland; grandchildren, Dylan, Sylar, and Amsley; 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 4 great nieces, and 3 great nephews.
Friends and family will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 4 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM with Pastor Jack Ernest officiating.
Graveside services are pending.
