ROSALIE VALENTINE, 84, of Empire, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. She was born August 11, 1925 in Barboursville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Houston and Sally Mantley Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Valentine who died June 19, 1990, by three step-children, Blanche Welch, Mary Gates and Don Valentine and 15 siblings. She was a homemaker and a Methodist. She is survived by her daughter, Glenda (Gary) Crissinger, Empire, by two granddaughters, Maranda Westbrook, Empire and Brandy (Jason) Waggoner, Richmond, a step-grandson, Shad Crissinger, and great-grandsons, Ethan and Tanner Waggoner. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM.
