Rose Marie McConnell 86 of Richmond, Ohio passed away July 23, 2022 at Trinity Medical Center West. She was born December 12, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Felix and Hazel (Sheets) Agresta. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David McConnell, Sr.; brother, Felix Agresta, Jr.; step-mother, Rosalie Agresta.

Rose is survived by her children, David (Debra) McConnell of Vermillion, OH, Dean (Darla) McConnell of Richmond, OH; Deborah (James) O'Connell of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dianna (Randell) Snyder of Richmond, OH; three sisters, Kathryn "Kitty" Mellott of Plymouth, Indiana, Joan (Dick) Eroshevich of Houston, Texas, Linda Agresta of Wintersville; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church, President of Richmond Methodist Women, President of Richmond Junior Women Club, Secretary and Treasurer of Richmond little league baseball, Secretary and Treasurer of Jefferson Union Booster Club, President of Richmond Lioness also Lioness of the year, Past Matron of Unionport Eastern Star and Grand Representative of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, and a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 740 in Richmond.

Rose was a manager of Dorsey Market. She worked at Tappan Lake for M.W.C.D., McConnell's Market, and Richmond Hardware.

Rose enjoyed camping at Tappan Lake.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St, Richmond.

Eastern Star services will be held Wednesday at 6 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday at the Richmond United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Scott officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
