With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rosemary Green, 94, of Bergholz, Ohio, she passed away at the Valley Hospice in Steubenville, Ohio on Monday, March 3, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bergholz, Ohio on November 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Daniel and Dorothy (Reese) Eynon. She graduated from the 1st graduating class at Springfield High School (1948). Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Green and brother, Jimmie Eynon.

Rosemary lived a life full of grace, kindness, and unwavering love. Her family meant everything to her, and she took immense pride in nurturing those bonds through her entire life. A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones and was always ready to give a warm hug, a kind word and a gentle laugh to her family and friends.

One of her greatest joys was her summer flowers. Her flowers bloomed in vibrant colors, and she beamed with pride as she tended to them. The beauty of her garden was a reflection of her heart, -loving, vibrant and full of life. She took meticulous care of each flower, and it brought her great satisfaction to see her hard work blossom every year. Her flowers were a symbol of her nurturing spirit and dedication, not only to her flowers but to her family.

Rosemary is survived by two daughters, Marsha (Rick) Byers and Becky (John) Tumis, both of Bergholz; five granddaughters, Amy Long, Julie Kireta, Danielle (Brian) DeLong, Dr Christine (Greg) Gasior, Pharm D and Lauren (Michael) Szydlowski. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and three nieces.

Rosemary was one of the original members of Faith Community Church.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 11 AM until 1 PM. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Chad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to valley hospice for the loving care and support provided to Rosemary, especially Tonnie and Tiffany.
