ROSEMARY HILL, 86, of Richmond, OH, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. She was a teacher by profession and for years she and her late husband, Edgar, owned and operated the Hill's Egg Farm near Richmond. She was an active member of the Richmond United Methodist Church, and the Country Cousins Farm Bureau Council. Rosemary was born January 13, 1920 in Patricksburg, IN, a daughter of the late Oliver Scott and Effie Ellen (Harsh) Rentschler. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Edgar Hill who died October 14, 2004 and by their daughter, Elizabeth Kantz who died September 18, 1985. Surviving is a son, R. Scott Hill and wife Donna of Richmond, son-in-law Reverend Richard Kantz, Mechanicstown, OH; 7 grandchildren, Shannon Hill of Colorado Springs, CO, Camela (Bryan) Schmitz, of Economy, IN, Summer (Wes) Graham, of Browning, MT, Trent Hill, of Richmond, Heather Kantz, of Carrollton, OH, Ked Kantz, of Mechanicstown, Wayne (Stephanie) Kantz, of Lancaster, PA and one great-granddaughter, Avery Rose Schmitz. Memorial services for Rosemary will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 24, 2006 in her church, the Richmond United Methodist Church, South Sugar St., Richmond officiated by the Reverend Carol Smith of the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church and left with the church at the service or mailed to the church at PO Box 332, Richmond, OH 43944.
