Roy D. Arbogast, Sr., 71, of East Springfield, OH, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, December 28, 2018.

He was born in Elkins, WV, July 30, 1947. He was preceded in death by his father John L. Arbogast and mother Juanita (RoRo) Ruth (Hammond) Arbogast.

He is survived by his wife Betty Eileen (Taylor) Arbogast of East Springfield, OH; son, Roy D. (Angela) Arbogast, Jr., of Richmond, OH; two daughters, Virginia "Gennie" Arbogast and companion Joe Scardina of Wintersville, OH and Sheila (Joel) Money of South Bloomfield, OH; nine grandchildren; and one great grandson.

Roy worked at Fort Steuben Metals in Weirton as a foreman for 20 years and at Summitville Tiles in Summitville, OH for 12 years until retirement.

He was a member of East Springfield United Methodist Church of the Cross where he enjoyed helping at the food pantry and also cooking and serving a couple Mother's Day meals for over 100 women,

He enjoyed the family gatherings and family trips.

He loved working outside and driving his John Deer tractor. He enjoyed all the seasons of the year.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 W. Main St., Richmond on Monday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Pastor Tom Snodgrass officiating.

Burial will follow at East Springfield Cemetery.
