ROY J. CVENGROSS, 87, of Bergholz , Ohio , went to his heavenly home Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville , Ohio .

He was born April 15, 1924 in Wolf Run, Ohio , a son of the late Michael and Theresa Gregor Cvengross. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Andrews) who passed away November 16, 1987 and by a brother, Mike and sisters, Phyllis Owens and Ernestine McMasters.

Roy attended Bergholz schools before entering the US Marine Corps on December 7, 1942 where he was the recipient of 2 battle stars. He retired in 1988 after 35 years at the Ford Motor Company in Canton .

He is survived by two sons, Roy (Marge) Cvengross, Jr., of Carrollton , Ohio , and Michael Cvengross of Bergholz, by two daughters, Barbara (Joe) Arman of Norwalk, OH and Irene (Stan) Koterba of East Canton, Ohio, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St , Bergholz on Tuesday from 2 PM until time of services at 4 PM commencing with full military honors.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
