Russell D. "Russ" Anderson, 59, of Bloomingdale, OH passed away suddenly on February 3, 2014 at his home.

He was born December 14, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Douglas K. and Kathryn (Beatty) Anderson.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Carol L. Anderson who passed away in 2012.

Russ worked at Wheeling-Pitt as a millwright for nearly 40 years.

Russ loved classic cars especially his '67 Chevelle and working in the garage with Rusty.

He was a long-time member of the Jefferson Sportsman Club and the Polish Athletic Club.

Russ is survived by his daughters, Chrissy (Benny) Taylor of Wintersville and Tracy Anderson of Akron; son, Russell "Rusty" Anderson and his fiancée Jamie Snyder of Bloomingdale; grandson, Graham Douglas Taylor; and his little buddy, Colten Scovronski.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Everhart- Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Unionport Cemetery.
