Russell Dale Lancaster, 54 of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.

Russ was born July 30, 1962 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Dale and Ann Major Lancaster. He was employed as an X-Ray technologist at UPMC. Russ also played bass and lead guitar for many bands throughout the years including Mongo Huey, 10 Feet Tall and Stone Funk.

Russ is survived by his wife, Beryl (Larkins) Lancaster; daughter, Tiffany (Joe) Warner of Bradford, PA; son, Decker Lancaster; step-sons, Bryan Turmel of Toronto and Ian Turmel of Empire; Step-daughter, Dani Turmel of Bloomingdale; sister, Susan (Bruce) Barrett of Wintersville; brother, James Lancaster of Toronto and grandchildren, Max and Aubrey Warner.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 1-3 and 5-7 PM. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.
