Ruth D. Dougherty, 88, of Richmond, Ohio, passed away on December 26, 2023. She was born on June 22, 1935, in Richmond, Ohio, to the late Harry "Had" and Florence (Marker) Milewsky. In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Chuck" Dougherty; her brothers, Edward, Donald, Harry, George, Joseph, and Ralph; and her sisters, Mary Agnus, Florence, Sarah, and Lucile.

Ruth loved going to Prime Time for lunch, playing cards with friends and family, being surrounded by family and was involved in a bowling league in her younger years.

She is survived by her sons, Dean (Tammy) Dougherty, Chuck (Kathy) Dougherty, and Paul Dougherty; her grandchildren, Ryan, Stacey, Jessie, Kaitlin, and Desiree; and her 9 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received for visitation at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. A Funeral Liturgy Mass will be held at the funeral home the following day, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 10 A.M. with Father John McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
