Ruth E. Galloway, 71, of East Springfield , Ohio passed away Tuesday October 25, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

She was born September 16, 1940 , in New Somerset, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harry and Edna Shannon Striker. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by brother, James Striker and sister, Sue Gray.

Ruth was Methodist by faith. She was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ralph Galloway of East Springfield; sons, Robert (Sandra) Galloway of Keystone Heights, Florida and William (Jolynn) Galloway of Middleburg, Florida; daughter, Lori Howard of Jacksonville, Florida; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brothers, Harry (Doriet) Striker of Richmond; Charles (Myra) Striker of Richmond; and sister, Mary Deweese of Warren, Ohio.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Richmond on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 AM with Mr. Darl Dinger officiating.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
