Ruth E. Haislet, age 86, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away October 10, 2018.

She is preceded in death by her son, William "Billy" Haislet and three brothers, Delmer, George, and Robert Staats.

Ruth was born January 25, 1932 in Murraysville, WV, a daughter of the late Charles Leonard Staats and Thelma Chichester Staats.

She is survived by her two daughters, Charlene (Michael) Marcus of Ormond Beach, FL and Yvonne (Pete) Battistelli of Wilmington, NC; three grandsons, Shane (Amy) Poole of Ormond Beach, FL, Anthony (Erica) Carpico of OH, and Christopher (Stephanie) Carpico of NC; and one granddaughter, Leticia Pence of Orlando, FL; three great grandsons, Carson and Cooper Carpico of NC and Gavin Carpico of OH; one sister, Velma Kay Allen of Stow, OH and one brother, Leonard "Buster" (Doreen) Staats of Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Friends will be received at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 12 Noon.

Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
