Ruth Kuester 85 of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away September 23, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center West. She was born June 16, 1936 in Bloomingdale, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Murldine (McNemar) Floyd. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Kuester; brother, James Snodgrass.

Ruth worked for Lancia Nursing as an aide.

Ruth is survived by her children, Betty (Alan) Chivers and Robert (Lisa) Kuester; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica) Chivers, Brian (Niki) Chivers, Stephen (Kayla) Chivers and Casey Kuester; great-grandchildren, Nico Chivers, Isabella Chivers, Elena Chivers, Anna Chivers, and Alice Chivers.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 5-8 PM where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
