Sandy L. Bennett, 64, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026. She was born on August 1, 1962, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Robert and Pearl (Higgins) Hazelip. In addition to her parents, Sandy is preceded in death by her infant son, Kevin Bennett; and her siblings, Dale Kimble, Scotty Hazelip, Linda White, Donna Abshire, Karen Hazelip, and Tracy Hazelip.

Sandy loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, and her great granddaughter.

She is survived by her loving husband, Steven Bennett Sr.; her sons, Steven (Michelle) Bennett Jr., Carl Bennett, and Mike (Linda) Bennett; her brothers, Robby, Tommy, and Randy Hazelip; her sisters, Norma Emery, Patty Chivers, Penny Brown, Jenny Hazelip, Kelly Hazelip, Jamie Reeves, and Kathy Bennett; her grandchildren, Christopher, Heidi, Lita, Jordan, and Ethan Bennett; and her great granddaughter, Rose Riggs.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second Street, Bergholz, Ohio, on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. with Pastor David Guess officiating. Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery.
