SARAH I. TUCKER, 93, of Bergholz, OH, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in the Sienna Woods Nursing Home, Wintersville following an extended illness. She was born in January 29, 1915 in Marsh County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard and Rose Belle Blake Whetzel. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde "Dick" Tucker who died October 8, 1983; by 3 brothers, Elmer, Leslie and Ellis Whetzel and a by 2 sisters, Pearl Kirkpatrick and Ethel Ater. Sarah had been the resident caretaker at the Bergholz Chapel of the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home from 1987 until 2007 and was a Protestant by faith. She is survived by a sister, Mildred Lemons of Moundsville, WV, several nephews and nieces and her close friends, Geraldine and Kelly Orwick and Mick Casey. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St. Bergholz on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday with the Reverend David Miller officiating.
