Scott Tyler Bornyk, 21 of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 unexpectedly as a result of an accidental fall. He was Methodist by faith and a member of Georges Run Methodist Church.
Scott was born February 7, 1989 in Fort Ord, California, a son of Scott and Penny Zahransky Bornyk. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Lucy Zahransky, paternal grandfather, Edward Bornyk, and an Uncle Michael Zahransky.
In addition to his parents he is survived by paternal grandparents John and Lois McCann of Vancouver, British Columbia; three brothers, Michael Glasure of Hawaii, Johnathon Glasure of Steubenville, and Tucker Bornyk of Bloomingdale; Great Aunt, Ruth (Sam)Ciafardone of Mingo Jct.; four Aunts, Wendy (Curt) Harris of Steubenville, Heidi (Dave) Balshaw and Carrie Bornyk both of Vancouver, British Columbia, Kathy (Joe) Hook of Mingo Jct.; many friends and cousins; his dog and best friend, Gage.
Special thanks to the first responders of the Hillndale Fire Dept., Mingo Fire Dept., and Cross Creek Police Dept., for their tireless effort to help Scott.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd. Wintersville on Monday, March 29, 2010 from 1-3 and 5-8 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday at 8PM with Pastor Jimm Woods officiating.
