Scott Allen McConnell, 53, of Smithfield, passed away in his home on November 4, 2021. Scott was born on August 14, 1968 in Weirton, West Virginia. He is the son of Gloria (Tingler) McConnell and the late James T. McConnell. Scott worked at Jefferson Security as a security guard for many years. Out of many of Scott's hobbies, he enjoyed fishing the most with his family.

Scott is also survived by his son, Michael McConnell; his daughters, Shawna McConnell and Molly Richards; his brothers, Tom (Amy) McConnell and Todd McConnell; and his sister, Theresa (Tal) Elliott.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second Street, Bergholz on Sunday, November 7 from 12 PM until services at 2 with Pastor Dave Miller.
