Scott Alan Paul, 60, passed away peacefully on February, 7, 2026, at Trinity West hospital. A lifelong resident of Steubenville, Ohio, Scott was born on April 26, 1965, and remained a kind and hard-working member of the community his entire life.

A proud graduate of Steubenville BIG RED High School, class of 1983, Scott's pride as a BIG RED alumnus never wavered. He was a loyal supporter of BIG RED football, as well as a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, rarely ever missing a game.

Scott's professional journey came full circle, which reflected his loyal nature. He began his first job at the age of 17, at the Fort Steuben Mall, which is fatefully where he chose to work his final role.

Between those milestones, Scott built a respected career in Industrial Distribution, dedicating 12 years to Motion Industries, and a further 10 years at Applied Industrial Technologies. He was known by colleagues for his strong work ethic, reliability, kind, and friendly nature. Scott will always be remembered as a man who loved life, enjoyed making those around him laugh, and was known as someone who was an avid animal lover. Although, Scott loved nothing more than his family and friends, which to him were often one in the same.

Scott is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 36 years, Dolores "Dee Dee" Paul, and his beloved daughter Gina Marie Paul, who will forever remember him not just as her father, but also as her lifelong best friend. He is also survived by his two older brothers, Rob and Russ Paul, with whom he shared many cherished memories, countless laughs, and bond that went deeper than that of siblings. The Paul son's were naturally connected through brotherhood, but lifelong friendship was how they chose to strengthen their family connection.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill", and Linda Paul. He was a deeply devoted son, with whom he shared a close bond. He loved, and immensely cherished his relationship with his parents. The closeness amongst the Paul family is exactly what leaves them with a sense of peace in faith that with his parents; Scott is resting eternally.

The Paul family greatly appreciates the kindness and compassion that they received from Valley Hospice during this incredibly difficult time, and wishes to extend their gratitude.

At this time, no immediate services are scheduled. The family plans to host a memorial to celebrate Scott's life in the future. The family plans to reach out to extended family and friends with further details once those plans are in place. We thank you for your love and understanding during this private time.
