Selma Thomas, 97, of Elizabeth, PA, formerly of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on August 16, 2023. She was born April 20, 1926 in Mingo Jct., Ohio a daughter of the late Howard and Floy Dean (Earley) Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Thomas; brother, Roy Jones; sisters, Betty Pesta and Susie Flaherty.

Selma is survived by her sons; Tommy (Linda) Thomas and Timmy (Lisa) Thomas; brother, Howard Jones; sister, Doris Plotts; 9 grandchildren, Aaron (Michelle) Thomas, Zachary (Christina) Thomas, Calista Thomas, Maliah Thomas, and Blake Thomas; 15 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Grayson, Brody, Teagan, Brooklyn, Brynn, Nolan, Harper, Madden, Maddox, Lola, Lety, Noah, Liah, and Gracie.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Sunday from 1-4 PM. Funeral service will be held 11 AM on Monday with Pastor John Kotsanos officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
