Sharon A. Six, 64, of Mingo Junction passed away March 1, 2012 at Weirton Medical Center .

She was born September 3, 1947 in Steubenville , Ohio , a daughter of Betty West Hood of Mingo Junction and the late Dean E. Hood. In addition to her father she is also preceded in death by a brother, David Hood.

Sharon was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church in Mingo Junction.

In addition to her mother Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald Six of Steubenville; son, Shawn (Denise) Ryan of Steubenville; one grandchild; brother, Larry Hood of Toronto; sisters, Sandy (Pete) Olexia of Wintersville, Joyce Hood of Mingo Junction, Valerie (Bruce) Rutherford of Steubenville, Kim Groves of Mingo Junction, and Robin Johnston of Mingo Junction; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes, 685 Canton Rd. , Wintersville on Monday from 6 PM until time of funeral services at 8 PM with Pastor Sam Davis officiating.
