Shirley A. Berard, 80, of Bergholz, OH, passed away June 24, 2019 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

She was born January 5, 1939 in Harrison County, OH, a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Wells) Hursey.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings, Marilyn, Clarence "Jr.", Bob, Alan, and Larry.

Shirley was a member of the Bergholz Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald "Jim" Berard; children, Joy (David) Robinson, Larry (Elaine) Berard, and Ron (Cheryl) Berard; brothers, Ray Hursey and Don (Mercedes) Hursey; 7 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM with Pastor David Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery.
