Shirley Ann Hicks, 86, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away on May 9, 2022. She was born on October 9, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Earl William Martin and Mary (Price) Martin. In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her brothers, Alfred Martin, Charles Martin, and Richard Martin, and infant brothers, William and Dwayne; and her grandchildren, April Lamp and Jolie Carr.

She is survived by her sons, James Hicks, Edward Hicks, and William (Paula) Hicks; her daughter, Nellie Lamp; her brother, Robert Martin; her grandchildren, Rick (Wendy) Lamp, Sabrina Kiger, Amy (Dan) Hague, Aaron Hicks, Matthew Hicks, Annika Hicks, Matt (Stephanie) Waggoner, and Vince Neily; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Andrew, Colton, Cameron, Bryson, and Eden.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, for calling hours on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4-8 P.M. There will be a service on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 11 A.M. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Steubenville, Ohio.
