Shirley J. McBride, 76, of Richmond , Ohio passed away Tuesday November 29, 2011 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

She was born September 20, 1935 in Richmond , Ohio , a daughter of the late Russ and Frances Huston Rothacker. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by granddaughter, Tara Rothacker and brother, Jack Rothacker.

Shirley was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church .

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Eugene F. McBride, of Richmond; sons, Terry (Susan) Rothacker of Steubenville and Joe McBride of Richmond; daughters, Susie (Dave) Riley of Wintersville and Michelle (Rob) Stewart of Richmond; grandchildren, Amie Johnston, Kylie Kirshman, Robbie and Logan Stewart; great grandchildren, Harley Riley, Belle Kirshman, Alexis and Sierra Johnston; and sister, Carol Goodrich of Richmond.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street , Richmond on Thursday from 5-8 PM where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Sam Davis Officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union cemetery.
