Stephen F. Wells, 64, of Toronto , Ohio passed away April 3, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville .

Stephen was born May 24, 1947 in Mingo Jct., Ohio , a son of the late Claude Henry and Anna Belle (Eddy) Wells.

Stephen served his country in the United States Army in Korea .

He is Founder and Elder of Faith Chapel Church of Steubenville and is a retired firefighter from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 44 years, Pong Hui "Jeannie" Wells; son, John (Jessica) Wells of Canton, Ohio; daughter, Deborah Lamantia of Mingo Jct., Ohio; and five grandchildren, Doug and Jacob Snodgrass, Maya Lamantia, Ava, and Benjamin Wells; two brothers, Gene Wells of Toronto, OH and Jack (Joyce) Wells of New Cumberland, WV.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Herman Tranter officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery .
