Susan A. Maple, 72, passed away in her home on February 14, 2022. She was born May 13, 1949 in Steubenville, Ohio. Daughter of the late Argel and Nellie (Vinburg) Oldaker. In addition to her parents, Susan is preceded in death by her husband, David E. Maple; her brother, Mike Oldaker; and her grandchild, Landon.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Robert) Maple and Amanda Yonts; her brother, Pat (Kay) Oldaker; her sisters, Cathy (George) Cheripko and Darlene (Howard) Hennis; her sister-in-law, Joni Oldaker; and her grandchildren, Tory, Cole, Ryder, Nellie, Kolton, and Kendall; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Sandy Nicholson.

Sue was a devoted mother and family champion. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She had a passion for horses and enjoyed being an equestrian in her early years. Fishing with her beloved husband became her favorite pass time in later years.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4 until time of service at 6:30 P.M.
