SYLVIA "Jean" LASH, 82, of Bloomingdale, OH, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Friday, December 11, 2009 in Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. She was born March 24, 1927 in Bournemouth, England. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Phyllis (Watkins) Colwill, a son, Mark Pearce, 2 grandsons, Lenny Taylor and Joshua Robinson and a sister, Andrena. She was a homemaker and Protestant and had served in the Royal Air Force WRENS during WWII in England. She was a wonderful wife and the dearest Mother any family could have. She is survived by her husband, Warren E. Lash and a son, Keith Pearce of Toronto; daughters Andrena Snyder of Wintersville, Penny Basham and husband, Jerry of Steubenville and Lynette Pearce and companion Rich Mickey of Toronto and has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville on Sunday from 1 PM until 4 PM. Funeral services will follow visitation at 4 PM Sunday with the Reverend Delbert Lash officiating. Entombment will be in Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
