Sylvia Jean (Hoobler) Sheets, 81, of Richmond, OH, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2020. She was a member of Richmond United Methodist Church and Richmond Historical Society.

She was born in Steubenville, OH on November 8, 1939, a daughter of the late Lawrence "Tex" and Anna (Smith) Hoobler.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Sheets; daughter; Carla Jo Westlake; siblings, Bud, Alfred, Lois, Norma, and Twyla.

She is survived by son, Ronald B. Sheets, Jr.; grandchildren, Bryan Sheets, Brianna Sheets, William Bennett, Zachary Westlake and Nathan Westlake; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Gloria Wilson, Howard (Peg) Hoobler, and Dennis (Sherry) Hoobler.

Friends will be received on 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. Richmond where funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11 AM with Pastor Byron Bufkin.

Burial will follow at Osage Cemetery, Toronto.
