Terry L Young

Terry L. Young, 80, passed away on January 15, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1946, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Frank and Sarah (Kempton) Young. In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd, Paul, Ralph, and Charles Young; and his sister, Jean Deavers.

Terry was a proud U.S. Army Veteran and was a member at the Wintersville American Legion Post 557.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Fithen) Young; his children, Terri (George) Vanezalos, Michelle (Scott) Ensminger, David (Chris) Young, Krissi (Tony) Febo, and Amanda (Tony) Appleton; his brother, Marty Young; his grandchildren, Corey Ensminger, Shane Ensminger, Shelbie (James) Menzer, Amanda Myers, Roger Myers, and Hunter Myers; his great grandchildren, Johnathan Ensminger, Elizabeth Ensminger, Brianna Myers, Kairi Myers, and Ducky Myers; and last, but certainly not least, his two best buddies, Fluffy and Boots.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes, 685 Canton Rd, Wintersville, Ohio, on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 2 P.M. until time of services at 4 P.M. with Pastor Bill Westling officiating.
