Thelma B. Jones, 94, of Steubenville, OH, passed away December 16, 2014 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

She was born April 11, 1920 in Fairfield, OH, a daughter of the late John and Bessie (Saltsman) Owen.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Jones who passed away in 1986; sons, Edwin Jones and Allan Jones; infant daughter, Darla Kay; brothers, Walter, Lou and Stanley Owen; and sisters, Maxine Pappas and Marie Huscroft.

She was a member of the Wintersville Baptist Temple.

Thelma is survived by her sons, Jack (Mary Ann) Jones of Ocala, FL, Roger (Beckie) Jones of Troy, OH, and Greg (Cindy) Jones of Wintersville, OH; 13 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM with Pastor David Shores officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery.
