THOMAS C. NORRIS, 67, of Chardon, OH, passed away in Marietta, OH Tuesday, March 06, 2007 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. He was a retired Administrator of Safety and Traffic with Midwest Steel and Alloy of Youngstown and Cleveland. He was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson Union High School, was a veteran of the US Air Force and was a member of the Church of Christ.
He was born in Paris, PA, January 10, 1940, a son of the late Azel and Ruth (Sayre) Norris. He is also preceded in death by one brother and his father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Lois Goddard. He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Goddard) Norris whom he married April 26, 1963; by 3 daughters, Valerie Wright and husband, James of Vienna, WV, Laurie Kay Fox and husband Christopher of Fredericktown, OH and Renee` Mullett and husband David of Chardon, OH; 9 grandchildren, Willow, Walker, Weston, Tyler, Cody, Danee`, Truxton, Scott and CoraRuth; a brother, Alan of Hopedale and 2 sisters, Arline Firm and husband, Kenneth of Campbell, OH and Mary Ellen Miller of Fairborn, OH and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. Richmond, Thursday, March 8, 2007, from 6-8 PM and on Friday one hour prior to funeral services at 11 AM with Mr. Bob Main officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Union Cemetery where military graveside services will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
